This picturesque island is nestled in the Tusket River, close by Hubbard’s Point and the village of Tusket, Yarmouth County. Easy access is afforded by the public wharf at Hubbard’s Point.

At 10± acres, this heavily wooded island offers privacy and seclusion yet is near enough to the mainland to make your shopping excursions effortless. The inland shoreline is a combination of rock and sand which provides excellent swimming and boat mooring. Butter Island has high elevations and beautiful mature spruce trees. There has not yet been any construction on this island so it offers abundant opportunity for the island dweller.
